Role

We are looking for a thoughtful senior leader who loves taking complex mission-critical products to market and is looking for an opportunity to play a pivotal role in scaling and taking a company public in a few years. We are looking for someone with a successful track record within the Enterprise B2B SaaS market, including in early-stage SaaS companies, who loves and knows how to win against large established enterprise players like Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft and SAP.

  • Owns all global new logo sales and reports to CEO
  • Responsible for new revenue sales, execution and overall sales strategy
  • Responsible for both direct and channels sales with a highly engaged global partner network across verticals
  • Attracting, hiring, developing, and retaining a top performing B2B sales team consisting of account executives, sales engineers, SDRs, and a sales operations team
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product Marketing, Product, and the Exec team to devise overall go-to-market strategy, messaging, and design effective sales playbooks
  • Integral part of the executive team, working closely with CEO, Marketing and Product leadership

Responsibilities

  • Ensure execution of the sales model to meet or exceed revenue goals
  • Define and improve the sales workflow(s) to achieve repeatable success
  • Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly bookings and manage a tight pipeline
  • Provide leadership, mentorship and coaching to the organization that fosters an environment of problem solving and improved business practices

Requirements

  •  8-10 year’s experience managing Enterprise sales teams with average deal size of $200k+
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing complex sales cycles typically with multiple stakeholders, decision makers, and influencers at multiple levels
  • Startup experience, growing companies from 10-50M in ARR
  • Comfortable working across multiple industry verticals like Energy, Water, Munis, Telco, and Manufacturing
  • Entrepreneurial style, unafraid to roll-up their sleeves, get it done and “lead from the front”
  • Experience competing with established large software vendors
  • Knows how to work in a partner environment
  • Experience recruiting and enabling exceptional sales professionals who consistently deliver results
  • Resourceful, independent, and strategic as well as dedicated to producing results
  • Strong presentation, analytical, and negotiating skills
