Quality Assurance Lead / Manager

About the Job

The Quality Assurance Lead/Manager is responsible for owning the quality process for KloudGin’s product development organization. The QA Lead will work towards ensuring good test script coverage and minimize defect leakages. The QA Lead will be managing a team of quality assurance engineers and will need to be a good mentor and leader to the QA team, in addition to working as an individual contributor for certain core modules within the application. The Quality Assurance lead will create sprint plans for the QA portion of KloudGin’s quarterly product releases.

As a thought leader, the QA Manager will think through as-is QA processes and suggest improvements and industry best practices. They should also lead the automation initiative & plan and move appropriate test cases onto Automated run frameworks and tools.

Requirements

• 7+ yrs relevant experience in Software Testing
• Well-versed in software functional testing practices, methodologies, and standards
• Knowledge of any one of the below is mandatory
  1. Enterprise Asset Management
  2. Field work scheduling systems
  3. Supply Chain Management
• Comprehensive knowledge of software development life cycle and quality assurance methodologies
• Ability to write test cases creatively, taking into account all possible scenarios and configurations, in the enterprise software world
• Strong ownership traits with an ability to analytically assess problems in the ‘as-is’ and propose the ‘to-be’
• Knowledge of automation tools and suites is required
• Excellent communicator with strong analytical and problem solving skills

Responsibilities

• Design system and integration test case scenarios for product releases
• Work Collaboratively with Customer Experience team & coordinate release uptakes
• Ensure continuous progress on automated scenarios release on release
• Conduct trainings and walkthroughs to the Customer success team members on product features
• Develop and maintain Quality assurance Playbook & continuously improve the KPIs & processes
